So C is still pregnant, but the baby's not due until the 27th anyway. The baby dropped last weekend (10 days ago) and I thought sure she'd pop this week, but it doesn't look like she will. That's a good thing because my sister gets here on Saturday morning and will stay for 2 weeks - we want to maximize the amount of time we have help on site

As for being scatterbrained, that makes a helluva lot of sense. You don't add to your family all that many times, and it's got ramifications that'll go for decades (and then some!). The closest parallel I can think of is finishing fifth grade and then being handed a list of everything I'd need to be doing not just to graduate high school or college, but also to get licensed and/or certified and enough experience to get a decent job and have a home and family by the time I'm 40. That certainly would've done a number on my head!!

I am so glad that all is going so well this time. Usually, after the first baby, things settle down a bit. It is exciting, and nerve racking to wait for the arrival day by day.
