We were married at 12:01AM Christmas morning after a lively feast. After the ceremony just before dessert, my beautiful husband surprised me with a speech. He stood for the entire thing and spoke the entire thing, and I have never been more proud. It is impossible to explain how difficult those two things are for him right now. Bill is sleeping soundly this morning. He has been sleeping better since we returned from the hospital a few days ago, although he is on medication to keep him a bit more comfortable. It is a challenge each day to make him take the medication, but I believe he is beginning to see the necessity.

Yesterday afternoon, Bill returned to the hospital. After much discussion, once he is stable, I will be taking him home. I hope it will be later today. We will not return to the hospital again ( Read more... ) -
A Rough Week
This has been a rough week for us, but we are anxious to see a new week starting. It's amazing how taking things "one day at a time" becomes meaningful. It is twelve days until Christmas and twelve days until our wedding, and despite our recent hardships we are both unduly excited for what is to come.

Last evening, Bill took rather ill. As neither of us could sleep, he suggested we put on his favourite movie for when he is feeling unwell. We push forward with the wedding.
Thanksgiving was a wonderful time, and both Bill and I are happy that we took the chance and went. We have been home for a while now, frantically planning the for wedding.
