This is fantastic. It made me want to cry and laugh at the same time. The setting is spot on and the transposition is seamless. I think the remark about Schwetje's office having enough tech for NASA made me laugh the hardest.

And I love how slowly the friendship between Brad and Nate builds. Wow.

I am so in love with this. The headers were just PERFECT for each part. I love how thought-out this was, what with Nate struggling to be a good teacher at first and then being able to change his method and then the metaphor between standardized test prep and life.

Nate suspects he’s had another disagreement with one of the administrators; lately, such disagreements always seem to end with Brad working under furniture in Nate’s classroom.
Brilliant use of canon here *G*

Walt in the marching band is my favorite detail of the entire fic! I am only sad that I came up with it too late to make more of it throughout the story. Maybe if n00blici0us wins something else, I'll write her a sequel all about student!Ray and his uniform fetish...
