I went to my first real MUN debate in a long while today. As usual, I was the Russian Federation. Being something of an expert on the subject (I studied communism in depth for a year, which inevitably led to the study of Russia), I typically get assigned that role. For those who haven't MUN debated before, it's not at all about solving the issues.

Eh. Only so-so. I'm fleshing out an idea for an original fiction I've been thinking about for a while.

It's a weird fantasy piece, with a main character that the reader is only supposed to quasi-like. It's strong thematically, which I really like, but the plot is kind of thin at this point...
