So you feel that a good relationship reverses the isolation we all feel as a result of technology which, ironically, creates a myriad of connections but at the price of distance which, in turn, begets loneliness. In essence, you seem to be asserting that it's not how many people you know that cultivates fulfillment, it's how well you know and get along with those you do, thus, the very nature of technological communication devices undermine the very purposes for which they were created: to enhance individual relationships, especially over distances which would otherwise be render such relationships nearly impossible. Hmmmmm. I'm not sure I agree in whole, but I do think the extremes in each case are close enough together to grant such a theory a veritable consideration of merit.
