Why is it that when there are so many positives in our life, the smallest negative factor is all our energy can seem to focus on?

And, NO I'm not pregnant, nor have I ever thought that I might be pregnant.

But rest assured, that when the day comes I'll let you know, hahahaha.

Out of respect for him and my private life, I'm not discussing things here.  Sorry for those who hate the vagueness but that's the reality of the grown up world.  As I've gotten older I've started to feel that the internet isn't a proper venue to discuss feelings that are, or could be as strong as a relationship can cultivate.

I have competency exams this week.  I've been assigned my first resident and will take care of her for 3 thursdays giving her meds as well as the rest of her care plan.  The "rest of her care plan" contains the less glamorous part of nursing such as peri care, showers, enemas, changing diapers because she's 83 and incontinent.  Did I mention one of ( Read more... )
