Not just a letter, but a letter written my my old host mother's granddaughter in Moldova. Apparently they'd wanted to write to me, but lost my address, so when they got my x-mas letter this year she wrote me a very nice letter (in English!) and my host mother had a signed x-mas card sending me good wishes.
