Where to start... where to start...

My name is Chris, and I am 23 years old, even though I look noticeably younger. At the moment, I am an art student at the University of Maine, as well as a volunteer delivery driver with Meals For Me. At the moment, I don't have access to a scanner, but once I do, you can bet I'll be posting things I've done.

Welcome to Idol!

I love lap swimming. I just started back like three weeks ago. I only get to go like twice a week because of my busy schedule, and last Saturday when I got to the pool it had closed early. I was so disappointed I almost wanted to cry!

I like Food Network too - Everyday Italian rocks, and Giada is just gorgeous!

I can't wait till you get a scanner - I'd love to see some of your work! Maybe you can do a mixed media Idol post one week. We had some folks last season who would mix art and writing and enter the results!

BTW, I don't feel like I should ignore the bisexual comment. As far as I'm concerned though, you're just a human! You have attractions, you love...good for you! :)

Oddly enough, last Saturday, the pool I go to was closed due to a football game, and I was disappointed, since I hadn't known about it earlier.

I've actually never seen an episode of Everyday Italian--it seems like there's always something competing that I would rather watch. I've heard good things about it, however.

I actually set up a second blog a while back for my artwork, and it seems like I started it prematurely.

And thanks for welcoming and congratulating me. :)

I am envious of your Mac ownership.

Before I finally got mine, I had been feeling the same way about other Mac users.

Who cares about your sexuality when it's much more interesting to hate flog tease you about your defection to the computer dark side!

Welcome to competition, it's nice to meet you Chris. :)

It's nice to meet you too.

Up until about a couple of years ago, I considered Macs to be the computer dark side as well. For me, the turning point was borrowing a Mac laptop from a classmate while my previous computer (IBM ThinkPad) was having trouble.

And I'm glad you're okay with my sexuality :)

Eh, I've tried to use a Mac and it just doesn't jive with my way of computer working. Then again, I hate all laptops anyway.

Aw, sugar, what's most important is that you're ok with your own sexuality. I'm in San Fran, so it's easier for me to not worry about what others think, but you'll get there. :hugs:

*sigh* i miss swimming, but since I have so many scars and a nasty bad shoulder, I can't do it any more. I used to use Mac until I had to make the switch to Windows in order to use access technology at the time. Strangely enough, Mac now has pre-installed software for blind/vi to access now. Macs are too expensive for the time being, as well.

I look forward to seeing more entries for Idol. I am in the game too for fun and improvement on writing skills, and friendships. So, good luck!
