We'll skip all the annoyances that go with mandatory shared rooms and dealing with ghost-like surgeons who take hours and hours to cough up final discharge orders and focus instead on the simple pleasures of being home where it is cool and dark and quiet and minks happily make miso soup at the drop of a hat ( Read more... ) -
Typing for myself again!
I got out of surgery about 2:30 pm Monday and I was completely miserable/out of it/exhausted until about 9am Tuesday morning. I'm happy to report that I'm able to talk/walk/do everything I could before surgery, aside from being tired and sore. No firm plans as yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if I came home Wednesday. -

Brain Update, The Saga Continues
So after a lot of back & forth and bumps in scheduling, I finally have a surgery date. Monday, September 12, I have to be in Tampa at 7am for a cerebral angiogram of my brain, so they have a fresh and up to date map of my brain's blood vessels prior to surgery later that day. I won't find out until Sunday evening exactly what time my surgery is ( Read more... ) -

Long time, no see
Some of you may know I've been having twitching and weakness issues with the right side of my body, specifically my knee and hand.
