About a year and a half-two years ago, there was a triple murder that took place just east of where we live. Three people, two of them former employees, attempted to rob the Outback Steakhouse that's in Texarkana, Tx. There were three people left in the store when this took place. I wish it wasn't on my mind. It has been a key story in the news the last couple of days. It's the biggest story in fact. I feel close to what happened, because of the talk that we had with the manager that was killed. He was so nice, and talked about his family and the fact that they just had a new baby (I think it was a girl). He said he had just moved from Longview, and was really enjoying being in Texarkana. I knew what he was talking about, because I had just 'officially' moved to the area not but maybe a month before when I moved in with texas_knight. I hurt so bad for his wife, and the families of the two servers that were killed ( ... )

It's all just too horrible. I really hope they get what's coming to them. I'm sure they deserved to be fired in the first place - I can't believe they have so little regard for life that they believe someone deserves to die because they're crap at their job!

It truly is. It reminds me so much of the school shootings that have taken place over the last few years. Just because you don't like someone gives you the right to take a weapon to school/work, and let them have it. It's a sick way of throwing a temper tantrum. This guy is truly trying to weasel his way out of being held responsible for what he did. I hurt so bad for the families. I teared up when they were taking to family after the court proceedings today. Hubby didn't understand, but the tears that came from my heart were for those innocent children that are left without a father, and the wee angel that was never given a chance to touch us to begin with.
