Haven't set foot in there since the day before yesterday, so no. Not yet. Why, is he a rifle and pistol collector too? He may be irritated that someone he doesn't know and trust is trying to sell him something. Best to let this hang out here and if you know him a little better than I do, point him this way only after asking if he has a firearm that chambers .270 Winchester. I hate to be pushy when something as picky as rifle ammo is discussed. People will have their choices and likes/dislikes. His experience in the past may make him detest Winchester products. I personally have a dislike for PMC and "Wolf" branded ... re-loads. *cough-cough* If they can even qualify as that much.

Understood, I am playing hooky from the job for a moment to check up on this. The boss is out for a tooth extraction and my student part-time associate is studying for the day. *sigh* You keep name dropping folks I just do not have any familiarity with so I will have to trust your judgment on this.

Coulda used this advice yesterday. Was elated to find some nicely priced sweatshirts at a local store,a nd grabbed two. Foolish me, I forgot to check the sticker on the second one, and wound up with a XXL and a... L.
Would be interested in taking your ammo off your hands, Gentle, but I don't have a .270.

Hehehehe, yeah. I guess in a way I am like a little kid. I get all excited and forget all practicality. I only calm down and focus once on the firing line and holding my weapons downrange. I appreciate the gesture, I really do - would rather it gave someone some good use too. Heck at this point I am desperate to find someone local that would just trade. But I do not know too many other people, let alone furs that are into the same hobby. Well, there WAS 2, our ranting gryphon pal but he's out in Chicago last I heard and had an semi-auto AR chambered for .223 Remington. I do not figure him for the hunting type nor having a hunting rifle so that's a dead end. Even my x-military friends I know have no weapons to speak of around the house so I am at a loss for immediate "go to" folk.
