I am a bit overwhelmed since I last checked in with you all. I have been unable to return to work in the medical leave time that they have allotted me in order to recover. As the title says, I dragged my sighted-in, rebuilt and tested rifle out to the range for a little "real world" use and came away a winnah!

I had a "James Bond" moment today. All the years of collecting and hobby use of firearms all came together. I took a tactical weapons handling and concealed carry exam today and passed with flying colors. I am a few weeks away from having the license sent in the mail, but the most fun was putting the skills together on the firing line.

Day one without the medicines that caused me all of that pain, and after a shower and as I drip dry here in front of the machine - I am feeling worlds better. I took reception on a non-descript but very large box at work today. Very heavy too. I got it tipped up on its side since there were no "delicate" or "handle carefully" notations anywhere on it.
