I posted this stuff over at the Saiga-12 website and seems to have made a stir. One fellow asked a VERY intelligent question which I was very happy to reply to - he knew what the magic phrase was to get me to reveal the secrets. It's in how the ammunition is produced. I told him to what tolerances to trim the cases to after resizing them (They stretch when fired and grow longer) and the overall bullet length when it's seated before taper crimping to hold the whole works together. My trick was to overextend the bullet height 0.02" higher than normal which "pre-loads" the sides of the bullet in against the lands of the bore rifling when she feeds and comes to battery. No room for wiggle or wobble, she fires straight through and with immediate contact with the bore. Shooting factory made ammo on the other hand, that stuff is made to work and fire reliably in all types of weapons, from off-tolerances to weak firing pins, etc. If you *know* your weapon, you can tailor ammunition for it to really make it perform.
