They were dried hot peppers I had grown this past summer, so they were quite tasty. And hot. He asked, "do you like hot food?" I answered in the affirmative. You should try Bhutanese food he said. Hey man! Great to hear from you.

Did I mention Val and her girls moved to Wisconsin! Of all places!

So we will inevitably make the drive there some day. Ohio isn't very far out of the way. Feel like some visitors?

If you want more info e-mail me your postal addy and phone.

I don't have a bird icon, and that is too bad.

It was wonderful to see your post show up on my friends' page.

Do you think you will eventually make it to Tibet?

I hesitate to make predictions! If I have learned anything, it is that my forecasts are essentially worthless. India seems the most likely place to visit. Although Khenpo has shown me photos of his home town. Really extraordinary. Mud brick homes, lots of green pastures, rivers, mountains, and yaks and sheep. If I become fluent, who knows where I will end up? Bachelor Buddhist farmer in Tibet? Hmmmmm.......

I really enjoyed this post. You write about this topic very well. There are many cherished moments in life, why not wear a beautiful dress! When looking back on special memories of your child wearing a gorgeous dress, it will make a fond memory.

Thank you for your kind comment. I am not too active on LJ anymore. Only a few people (rarely) look at the entries. But I guess I owe them a little update, huh?
