I feel bad that I don't talk to my family more. This fall makes three years that I've lived almost disconnected from my family. i just don't know what I'd say to them.

tell them about your musical pursuits! ask them how they are doing. ask them to say hey to Zach for you if they see him. I don't talk to my parents every day but they call every couple of weeks. I never met your mom and dad but my parents love complaining about each other so I just let them. I don't call my grandma but once a year and I just let her tell me all the tragedies that have befallen her and people she knows. You can just do that. when did call them last?

Yeah, this is what happens when my parents call. My mom tells me all about what's going on with her, then decides she has to go.

call them and let them talk. i live with mine (still) yet I hardly speak to them until saturdays - then mum opens her trap and words flow for 45 minutes. job done :)
