After meeting up with House during office hours, Geoff makes a quick run to the Emporium to pick up beer and then heads back to the clinic apartment.

Knocking on the door, he goes ahead and opens it since House had told him it would be unlocked, although he just steps inside and looks to see if the doctor is in view.
