Louie's gone. He's talked about leaving, but I didn't think he'd have the nerve to actually do it. Well, whatever. Chefs are dispensable. We have plenty of reserves. Ones who don't feel the need to throw in disgusting bugs into into every other dish they cook.

Yoshi Island is still as miserable as I remember it. Those pesky dinosaurs are still infesting the island in even larger numbers than before. They even have themselves some appointed Yoshi chief leading the clan now. I just got word that the troops back at the castle require my assistance ASAP. They didn't specify what they needed my help for. Might have to do with the kids or something. I doubt it's anything serious. Anyways, it's a long way, so I'm leaving as soon as I can. I might stay a while longer if I need to and nurse my many wounds.

With all this prattle about snow, you'd think no one here's seen the stuff before. Seriously. As if I constantly need to be reminded of the upcoming season of misery.
I think I'll avoid going outdoors for a while. If there's anything I despise more than kids, it's kids with snowballs.
