Because of my medical condition, I wear extremely warm mountain climber long underwear from about october to april, every day. This period of time corresponds precisely with the part of the year during which I never once wash my pants.

Hey, I do same thing; currently I've gone over a month without washing a pair of Carhart pants that I wear regularly (over long-johns which I change daily).

If you're looking for a good pair of long underwear, I recommend Morgan Mills brand "Arctex" thermal drawers. They're like long undewear +5.

You know, what the fuck. I'm not actually touching the goddamn pants, so what the fuck is the big deal with washing them. Man, sometimes you, Yap and I are the only people keeping it real up in this motherfucker.

Mine are made by patagonia and they are extremely thin but incredibly warm, so I can actually wear another pair when it's really cold. I'll check into the +5 stuff, though.

That's nuts, Jesus, 3 fucking weeks, ask her if she cares anything at all about whales and dolphins. Washing uses so much water and creates so much pollution it's ridiculous.

sorry to be nosy, but I've been wondering for quite sometime, what is yoru medical condition? I know you were sick for years and have just recently gotten better, but what is it that kept you ill for so long? And requires you to wear long undies? Oh, and I only wash my jeans once a month or so too. What's the point of washing them everyweek? It ruins them faster and unless you spill something nasty or bright coloured on them, they look and smell fine for a long time! Though, hey, I do recommend that you wash yours at least once before April, you know, just for fun.

Oh man, I'm sorry. I'm doubly glad to know you've gotten better! Are you fully recovered now, or just well on your way?

I am so with you on this one. It's something I only adopted a couple of years ago. Before that I was seemingly impervious to cold weather.
Now I've taken to wearing a light woolen cap indoors.
I feel like an old man.
