Are there any Japanese Gardens in Seattle besides Kubota and the one at the Arboretum? (both are worth visiting, btw. Kubota's free and huge, but no Koi, while the Arboretum is $5 and small, but has Koi. And a very tame duck ( Read more... )

Best we've found so far in seattle
We got a box of charsiu bow to take home, also the best we've found so far (though they're smaller than I'd like - probably because they're dim sum size)

Wondering why the train is so much more than driving. For one person, it's about $70 one way, round trip $140, and it takes five hours, plus the cost of transportation to the train station on both ends (if any... Probably negligible.). i know there's a piroshky place downtown in pike's market, and there's going to be one at 3rd & cherry, but piroshkies are completely different.
