The oldest survivor from the First World War (and I've just heard the world's oldest man) has died.
I saw the fly-over of the Lancaster bomber and spitfires in honour of his 112th birthday on 6th June 2008. I believe that was the day he credited his old age to cigarettes, whiskey and wild women!

Worked from home because of the snow, so that hasn't helped (I am not built for solitude).
Decided to take a break at lunctime and build a snowman :)
