Oh no, that blows!! I hate losing things - I once lost $115.00 at the bar, and I was so upset. That's almost one day's work right there! Glad you had fun all things aside though.

Ugh - that sucks!! I had that happen to me once...I was walking around the mall and had a couple of bags and didn't realize that I lost one until later. Luckily it was a cheap dress that I was going to wear for Halloween (I was dressing up as a Spice Girl...so this was YEARS ago! :P) and it was only $10 or so...but I was still ticked, because the store didn't have any more of those dresses and I thought that dress was perfect!

I hope you can find the dress somewhere else...AND get your money back.

She seems okay but she's never been one to really show her emotions. I think I can count on one hand the amount of times I've actually seen her cry. She'll be hurting for a few months I think but she'll bounce back. She's a tough chick.

Well, good for her! I'm glad to hear that...although sometimes its good to show your emotions and let yourself have a good cry. Maybe she just does it in private and doesn't let it show to other people...even her best friend.

Man, you have a problem with losing stuff while travelling! I do remember the your birthday outfit on the bus incident. You need to find some way to remember stuff!!! That's too bad! I've never heard of that Amex thing, but definately give it a try. Hopefully you can replace it!

Yeah, I chalk it up to "I'm just an idiot". I don't know how I could've done that though, and I was just talking about that incident with Samia yesterday before it happened and I was like, "I don't want to repeat that again!" Yeah, I jinxed myself. But then in an attempt to make myself feel better, I brought up when Samia lost her ring at Price Club (do you remember her telling us about that?). She didn't really appreciate me bringing that up though.

I hope Samia' holding up OK. I'm still not sure if I can do dinner on Saturday, but I will try my darnedest to be there. I'll let you know as soon as I find out though.
