Left on Saturday night, got there Tuesday morning.  The room was great.  It had a refrig and microwave.  It was in walking distance of the harbor, the botanical gardens, the opera house, Hyde Park,  Chinatown, etc.

It was easier than walking up and down the Grand Canyon. G is a little uneasy with heights, but you're tethered to a cable and the guardrails made her feel OK. You have to wait 'til you're on social security before you can go.

BTW, we did several experiments with the water going down the drain, and were able to see it go both clockwise and counter-clockwise. Myth - BUSTED.

Haha! I forgot to ask you about the water going down the drain on the phone today. I'll have to tell Stephen of your results. ;)

I can't remember again, you all did this trip alone, right? Why did you pick Australia?

Yep, we did this trip just the two of us. We picked Australia because we got an e-mail from one of the many travel agencies and the price was right. It wasn't their tourist season. But the weather was great since it was their fall. So about 5 weeks later we made the trip. Denny had been on a business trip there a loooong time ago and really liked it.
Wow, you are up early? Is that what a new home does to you?
