There is something patently unfair about slaving over Mexican Hot Chocolate for hours while in the US over spring break, when I just melted a dallop of chocolate fudge frosting with some hot water and Swiss Miss sugar free hot cholcate mix and it tastes just as good.

Better even. Going to add a bit of cinammon and see how that works out.

Oh, that was damned good. Okay, here's what I did.

One tablespoonful full of Chocolate Fudge icing - Duncan Hines is what I had.

Two tablespoons of Swiss Miss choclate mix (I don't know if this is necessary. For all I know, the fudge would be enough, but I didn't want the drink to be too fudgey, if that makes sense)

A glass full of fucking hot water.

Mix slowly, making sure to melt the fudge icing along the way.

Now, I added a dallop of honey, because I have this excellent Viper Bugloss honey from Australia that I'm in love with and I thought it would provide a good balance with the cinnamon.

Oh yeah, dust the top and the rim of the glass with cinnamon, so you get a taste in every sip.

Damn good stuff.

Shit - and we had some icing left over from a making a birthday cake Monday night, and I had sugar cravings yesterday evening and ate the rest of it (hey, shush, I quit drinking soda this week, and I'm having withdrawl every now and then). But we don't have any honey at the moment. That can be easily remedied, because the local Yoder's has nice warm local honey that they take right off the comb... mmmmm... And nutmeg. I love nutmeg. Mmmmmmmm...

But jeez, that sounds damn good. Fudge icing, who'd've thunk it...

Hey, give your wife a big ol' kiss from me.
