I wish we had a way to mourn all those who give their lives at war. But then I realized, we do. We have Memorial Day. Many people take it as a day to party and eat. That's where the problem is. We can mourn the loss of a pop star, that's fine. But where America has lost it's way is where there are already established chances to mourn the loss of people. We have Memorial Day, we have Veteran's Day, and what do we do but drink and party and bitch and complain if we can't have off or we have nothing 'exciting' to do. Those are the days where we should mourn, where there should be televised events detailing the exciting and wonderful lives of those soldiers who are no longer with us. But that's where America has truly lost it's way, because instead they have tv show marathons and maybe parades. We need to go back to what we have already established and change that before we work onward.
