Sometimes I wonder how much students will remember me in the future.  There are many teachers that I remember from middle and high school, but many more that I don't really remember.  Sometimes I just think about how years from now when a former student of mine is asked to name teachers that made an impact on them, I want them to put my name on the ( Read more... )

I hate it when I see a kid in the store who's been separated from their parent, is crying with great distress, and when they're finally reconnected with their parent, the parent says "You need to pay attention!"  Like it's all the kid's fault they got separated.

It's been almost a month since Buster passed away.  I still get so emotional which is why I haven't written about him sooner.  Thanks for sending your condolences, I really do appreciate it.  So here is what happened...
