So yesterday was Thanksgiving. I was thinking about what I have to be thankful for. And I have a lot. Steven has turned out to be a wonderful man. I am glad we have stuck it out this far. My kids do the same for me. I'm still trying to grow and evolve into the best person I know I can be, that I want to be, for them.

My ex, whom I spent 7 years with was bipolar. I remember the ups and downs quite clearly. was really hard for everyone, but I'm sure debilitating for him.

I guess being aware of the problem is half the battle, the other half actually seeking and accepting help with it.

I know what you mean about LJ being different. I just started writing here again after at least 10 years. ended up going to opendiary to find REAL writers, if you know what I mean. I like LJ tho so am here to stay :)
