We've become the hastily written chapter of a work in progress.  Inundated by emotion, the words come easily for a few days, a week if we're lucky.  We create sentence upon sentence, soaking this empty page like an accidental inkblot.  And then just for a moment we look back on the words we've written, and we realize our mistakes.  A comma here ( ( Read more... )

Another week gone by. Friday is now part of the weekend, in case you were wondering. I love Thursday nights. Chano's, songfest, procrastination, and to top it off.. a night out with the girls. Ahh, Thursdays.

So tonight was my first "get to know the rosebuds" activity for helenes.  It was definitely quite an experience.  First of all, I learned that every one you know is related somehow through the valley.  Second, I found out that 3 of my other rosebuds have lj's-- as a result I have now dubbed livejournal the official guilty pleasure of the masses.  ( Read more... )
