Stargate Continuum

I just finished watching Stargate Continuum, the second of the two (so far) direct-to-DVD movies since Stargate ended. It is EVERYTHING I know and love about the series. SO AWESOME! I laughed, a went all woobie, and it honestly had me worried at least a dozen times. Which is good, because that means it always had be guessing

Alas, poor Stargate: Atlantis which was actually starting to get interesting, especially with the addition of Jewel Staite to the cast... is now doomed... and in it's place they're throwing us Stargate: Universe, which sound suspiciously like a Voyager clone, with a hint of Arthur C Clarke...but considerably more interesting.
