Got back from NY last night. Spent Wednesday night wandering around NYC with Gautam. Got to run to the airport with Tao and Raphael for a 6:30am flight to West Palm Beach, FL. I seem to be flying a lot.

Does anybody reading this live in Seattle? If so, can you briefly mention what sort of place you have, and how much it costs? I'm trying to get an estimate of the cost of living in the region.

I'm sorry that I haven't updated sooner. Tao and Raphael came back on schedule on Thursday. Raphael's on anti-biotics for a few more days, as well as salbutomol and ventolair. He'll be visiting the doctor on Monday to see how he's doing. So far he's doing pretty well, so we're optimistic ( Read more... )

Raphael's going to be sent home Thursday! He's doing pretty well. He gets to breathe in salbutomol and ventolair four times a day, and he's on oral antibiotics. The antibiotic is the first food that he's apparently decided really doesn't taste good. Overall he seems pretty happy, so we're glad they think he's good enough to be home.

Raphael's doing well enough that he no longer needs IV fluids. His antibiotic is now also being given orally - a doctor came in last night to listen to his lungs and determined that oral antibiotics were sufficient. He no longer has any IV, or any tubes attaching him to anything ( Read more... )
