I don't have a problem with people differ in their parenting techniques. What I do have a problem with is negativity surrounding other people's choices.. If you'd like to delete me because I circ'd my son, vaccinate or had to bottle feed after 6wks, then go for it. I don't need someone else to make me feel like crap about my parenting choices

Meh... I'm friends with a lot of parents who make different parenting decisions than I have. As long as their children are well behaved and not withdrawn or traumatized, I'm cool about it.

And although I don't talk about it on LJ for many reasons (not the least of which I'm not big on waving my son's penis around for the world to see) he is circ'ed. It wasn't my ideal choice, but to me, it wasn't something I was going to freak the fuck out about once his father decided. And pretty much once it's been decided one way or another, after the first couple of weeks it becomes a totally moot issue. It's done, or it's not done, and it's time to get on with parenting your son.

Man. Well for the record, I think it's everyone's choice what they do. As long as the kids are healthy, happy, and you know, not a sociopath from the choices made for them, then that's all that's important in the matter.

The only reason my full sister and I are uncomfortable about breast feeding? Our sis Cheri was extremely sexual about how it made her feel when she was breastfeeding her middle child. Even her third one too, but with the middle kid she was also making comments about him...... yeah. She's kinda fucked in the head, eh?

I'd probably be more okay with it now though because if I have kids and I *can* breast feed, I would. Not just because it's good for them, but also because of how aspensive everything is getting :/ I just would move to another city so I wouldn't be around that sister when I'm doing it!!
