Have a holly, jolly End-of-November.

The Christmas music started today at the mall. Actually, it may have started yesterday, but I didn't work then. I am coping with irritating songs by thinking, "At least it's not 'Last Christmas (I Gave You My Heart).'" Sadly, this strategy falls down when they play "Last Christmas."

Holy cow, I hate "Last Christmas (I gave you my heart)." I heard that in a Bath & Body recently, and my sister and I were just like "what the HELL is this song, apart from stupid?"

Generally speaking, I really enjoy holiday times and Christmas music, but this is limited to Christmas music I choose to listen to; i.e. manifestly not mall Christmas music. Good luck with staying irritation-free. ♥

Oh yes, I also greatly enjoy holiday times and Christmas music, but as you noted, not of the forced mall variety. Although it is fun when I hear a song from one of the many Christmas records my mom has. Or a Christmas version of "In the Mood."

"what the HELL is this song, apart from stupid?"

I know the answer to that! It is also EXTREMELY repetitive. And apparently there are approximately a billion versions, including a Crazy Frog version. AAARRRGH WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN. Must cleanse brain by watching Chiron Beta Prime.
