So, for no reason at all this popped into my mind yesterday, when I was cooking/doing the dishes. :P

All around us
Children's playing, having fun

I can definitely relate to the needing to cry thing. If I haven't in a while, really innocuous things can make me break down in sobs. I cry easily anyway, but if it doesn't happen regularly for the purposes of catharsis, if nothing else, then I end up feeling a little "off".

Well, I rarely cry for just about any reason. Haven't since I was a young girl. Actually I didn't start to cry again now and then until my father died and it's still not something I do very often. But sometimes... well, sometimes you just need to cry a little. And sometimes I just miss having both my parents.

For me the 'off' feeling tends to come when I have too many things on my mind. Writing seems to make that feeling go away and for that reason I have also kept a diary for many years now.(Now supplemented with LJ). :)
