Memories are painful.

Went to mom's house, read, ate and sat around. Came home and then went and watched the Meteor shower on the Cuesta Grade, just got home.

Driving to DLand tomorrow.

Still not easin' up..

Hung out with Julia and Mara. Went to Kona's, went to Pismo, brought Royce flowers, came home. Hung out with Andy, went to McDonalds, went to the bowling alley and met up with Garrett, Jon, Alli, Robbie and some other people. Went to Denny's, went to Jon's, came home.

I can't make people care about where I am, what I'm doing, how I'm feeling if they just don't. I should know this by now. But apparently my knowledge doesn't stop it from upsetting me. Sadness is not artistic, it isn't something to write about in songs. Sadness is not deep, and it is not meaningful. It is something like a stone and from which there is no escape.

All I ask is that you are grateful for burdens you are free to live without.

You can write about it in songs, you can say that she was sad...that her days were all the same and she had that look in her eyes..you can say it in a chorus, repeat it more than once, but to you it doesn't mean anything, and to me it's all the fucking same.
