So we threw a huge halloween party. Husbandman set up the garage with a haunted kitchen you had to walk through, with two kids who were supposed to hack at a dummy and in general be scary. Ix and I were having a conversation about mercs at Pennsic. ( I have some thoughts. Let me show you them. )

We made a 14' square brick patio with firepit and places for 4 pillars which will flank seating and have malibu lights. Husband-man is involved, therefore there will be bells and whistles. He rented a bobcat to do the rest of the excavation (we rented a sod cutter earlier and cut off the grass into 12" squares and relocated them under some trees ( Read more... )
