Komodo dragons, meat-eating monsters that can reach upwards of 12 feet (3.6 m) in length and weigh 300 pounds (136 kg), are the largest lizards in the world. They can be found, conveniently enough, on Komodo Island and 3 other islands in the Indonesian archipelago.
