I'm so so glad you finished and posted. YEAH!!! I've already converted it to be able to watch on my Ipod at all times and have seen it again and again. It's marvelous!!! Thank you :)

It was a happy moment in an otherwise really crappy day! And it's really marvelous. Like this and Big City Life are now my two must see DA vids! Heck, some fandoms have less than that :)

Hee, awesome! I hadn't thought of it as a recruiter vid but if it works, that's fantastic. It's a flawed show but it has a lot to recommend it, including some really rich worldbuilding.

I remember you mentioning working on layers before and wow. This is a beautiful working of the method. It adds meaning and communicates so well.

The beginning with them as children begins so innocently and childlike with the harsher aspects of their lives coming into view. The vid is constructed extremely well with the character focus, the relationships, the betrayals, how they come together, break apart, grow, and grow strong. I love how their play shadow puppets over the mission sign. Extremely cool use of the text as well.

The framing devises of her biking and the other characters biking with her as well was great. The motion at 1:30-1:36 is amazing.

The issues of transgenetics is brought to the forefront using the characters, their struggles, and their ultimate triumph. I can't decide if it's sad or lovely to see the values of the characters as they develop.

Oh, yay! I am so glad that the layers worked for you - I was so nervous about them! And it makes me so happy that you liked the structure of the thing - because it's such a heavily instrumental song, the structure was the main focus for me. Thank you so much for your comments!
