Alright. Everyone name the songs that led up to your taste in music today. I'm looking for some really good songs from the 70s, 80s, and early 90s up to 97. I want a lot and I want tons of responses because I'm in dire need. If you have a favorite band, just name the band and a few tracks you love. U2, definitely U2 - I can't name all the songs because there's a hundred but look in the catalogue from 1980 to 1991 and you'll have a lot of the stuff.

The Clash, I know I'm classic but it always works - Radio Clash, I'm so bored with the USA, London Calling, Career opportunities, Jimmy Jazz, etc ...

The Kinks, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Bruce Springsteen - back to "Born in the USA" ...

I have a weakness for Van Morrison, probably because of my Irish ascendance, each of his album has something different, so dig if you can - Irish Heartbeat for example
