Thing one: My new job kicks ass. It is completely awesome to interview smart, excited, cool high school seniors and write about whether they should go to Mac.

Thing two: SweeTango apples are the best thing ever. I had my first one of the season today, and it made me close my eyes and be still.

Today is a good day.

I'm not dead. Working two jobs, even if they only add up to full time together, is hard. More later.

Also, it's autumn, and the cool air and barest edge of changing colours combined with being on the Macalester campus every day...well, nostalgia doesn't really even begin to cover it.

I got the job at Mac! I will try very hard not to scare the prospective freshmen.

Well, I've been silent for a while, so I feel I ought to say something, but I don't have a great deal to report. Things continue along in a rather unremarkable vein. Elias and I saw Inception today. It was pretty much awesome. There is innovative action in it that comprises the most novel cinematic effects I've experienced since The Matrix. And it makes you think.
