THREE clients received Grammy nominations this morning.

My name was added to the letterhead this week, so I feel I can say the following with confidence, pride and, most importantly, total truthfulness:

I am an ENTERTAINMENT LAWYER.

I got an email from I guy I went to high school with last night. I was playing in Hoboken about 6 summers ago and he happened to walk by the club where I was playing. This summer, I will be working for the firm of Bienstock and Michaels, an entertainment law firm in NYC. The firm deals almost exclusively in representing musicians and musical instrument/equipment manufacturers (although they do represent a handful of actors, including Kathleen Turner). On the eve of trial, the DA blinked. Instead of going to trial this morning, the charges against my client are being dropped.

Last grade for last semester was an "A" in Trademark.
