Ugh. I spent most of the day today working off a mean hangover. Yesterday was the Big Game, in case you didn't know it, and Cal beat the crap out of Stanford: 41-6. So I had a super weekend off at a drawing workshop hosted by Jane Rosen, one of the teachers I studied under at Cal. It was part of my parents' graduation gift to me, so it was (sort-of) free. So earlier, I mentioned my scheme to pick up some spare cash doing portraits of characters in text-based games. My housemate plays one and I can definitely see the market. Driving back from Seattle a week ago was fun. We did it at night, putting me in Sacramento at 4 am: just in time to catch the first Amtrak back to the Bay Area.
