Productive day today. Was up all night last night translating my 3D StudioMax experience to Maya (which is what we're using for the animation class). Took a nap from 7am-12pm, went off to class from 1-4, then back home. Went snowboarding today at Alpine Meadows with my housemate and brother. Snow was great, mountain was good too -- a good mix of stuff. I worked on my agility all day by repeating this wicked mogul run, and by the end of the day, I was kicking (even more) ass. Let it be known that I strongly dislike William Hung. He may be a nice guy, and he certainly tries really really hard and has no regrets, but he's still awful. As much as we'd all like the contrary, just trying really hard doesn't get anything done; you need skill as well as determination to succeed. It can only mean one thing: soccer season is starting up again, and I will once again have an arrhythmic paycheck rolling in. I just spent 3 and a half goddamn hours on the bus in and around Oakland.
