They are a lot of fun, and I'll admit to letting other stuff slide in favor of fests and stuff just because sometimes I need that deadline and then actually getting something done pushes me to do everything else. *shrug*

I'm sure there will still be fic fests and big bangs for many years to come. I wouldn't worry.

I have set deadlines for myself in the past and I find it really motivates me. But I've got my limits, whether I like them or not. LOL.

I would really like to try Nanowrimo one year. But that'll probably have to wait at least until littlest starts school.

Yeah, I'll be honest. I suck at sticking to deadlines if I make them myself. lol Having that date set by some outside force is the kick in the ass I need sometimes.

I haven't done Nanowrimo... don't think I ever will.
