I think so too- but then I'm biased. But I love all the details. :-)

Clearly it is, definitely!

Oh, and I see Doc! The car in the upper righthand corner! That's the one Paul Newman voiced!

LOL. I didn't know that, actually, as Son insists on watching the dubbed version.

I only think you can compare Cloverfield to Blair Which because they were both filmed by handheld cams and had an extensive viral marketing play. But other than that.. uh.. no. Cloverfield > Blair Witch anyway ;-)

Yes, that's what I figured. Which is weird, because in that case you can compare ALL movies filmed "normally" with each other...

Oh Stardust is fantastic. A brilliant adaptation of a brilliant book. In fact, they have actually managed to out-Gaiman Gaiman in many places. I hope you enjoy it!

I can't wait to see Sweeney Todd as it is one of my favourite musicals. I do object to Tim Burton casting Helena Bonham-Carter in the role, but will wait until I see it before deciding because I did really like her in Big Fish.

Take care.

Oh, I did! It was a lovely movie, and I think they adapted it very well, as what work in a book, don't necessarily work in a movie.

I've never heard the music of Sweeney Todd before, but I liked it a lot.

You take care too, I hope.

Sweeney Todd has the luscious Johnny Depp in it, so has to be a winner even with Tim Burton's need to have his Mrs in every film he does.

I am glad you liked Stardust. I think they did such a good job of adapting it.
