I totally respect your right to be paranoid *grin*, I was gooing to comment here after I friended you, but since yesterday was my B-day I totally forgot. I'm such a ditz at times.
Anyway during my B-day wibble, i found myself beeing sucked into a new and somewhat scary fandom. Yup Peter Pan with the somewhat strange pairing Hook/Wendy. And I figured that since your fanfic was responsible I should add you as a friend so that you could enjoy having a minion. Thats all.
Did you read ALL of them yesterday? Ohhh, now you have to tell me what you thought. :-D I'll add you, though my LJ isn't a very exiting place to be. One or two pieces of fanfic that I haven't posted elsewehre, and a lot of moanings.
Yes! I found your journal through Charon's! I absolutely love JI too! Isn't he great! My favourite character of his is LM... but Tavington is pretty hot too, isn't he! May I add you to my friends list?
I found you quite indirectly, and saw that some of our fandom and fanfiction interests looked similar, so I thought I'd like to give your journal a try. :-)

So I spent a good hour trying to track you down. I hope you are flattered rather than creeped out by my dedication. I was a huge fan of your Hook/Wendy fics (assuming I have the right person!). I am blanking on the names, I think one of the stories was something along the lines of Shape of Hearts but I could certainly have that wrong.
A sudden burst of renewed Peter Pan enthusiasm led me tonight to try and read your pieces again only to find that they had vanished off FF.net. Do you have them archived somewhere else? Please say yes!

You got the right person. :-) And no, I'm not creeped out, but somewhat curious- how on earth did you track me down?
I pulled all my fics (at least those I know where I had archived them) when I stopped writing them. The nature of fanfic is rather fickle- they are read and then forgotten. But some of the issues I dealt with in my fics was very personal and writing was a way to deal with them. So I felt that I didn't want to have them floating around the Net when I wasn't "looking after them" anymore. Probably an irrational feeling.
I'm surprised, but flattered, that you remember them, as I think it must be at least four years since I wrote the last one. Though they aren't on the Net anymore, I do have them still on my harddrive. I'd be happy to send them to you, if you can provide me with an e-mail addy. And hopefully they will stand the test of time.
HUZZAH! I'm so glad my obsessive searching paid off! I completely understand about wanting to keep certain pieces more private.
I was so haunted by your stories. It is a rare piece of fan fiction that creates characters that I think about years after I've read them. For works with such dark plots you had such a lovely way with language and light touch. I like a writer that is so thoughtful and sympathetic to all her characters! I definitely re-read all of them several times.
As for how I mercilessly tacked you down... I managed to remember enough of your ff.net account name to do some googling and found your account on an HP archive which had a link to here. This was after a lot of false starts, however. Ultimately, persistence paid off for once!
I would LOVE for you to send me your stories. My email is Anarkia19@yahoo.co.uk.

See, I'm totally not scary.
Take care, Aurora

Apologies if I am bothering the wrong person!
