Today, I was attempting to go to the beach with my family, but we were diverted onto Wilmington because of a road closure. We were complaining and pissed off because there was absolutely no way we were going to be able to make it to the beach. We really regretted not getting an earlier start. I'm really sorry for your loss :(

When things like this happen so randomly, it puts things in perspective. WHAT perspective it puts it in still eludes me, but yeah, I've seen enough of this kind of thing to try my best to enjoy what I have and stop bemoaning what I don't have. Thanks for another reminder to do that. I'm sorry I had to relearn this lesson at your friend's expense :(

I found out this morning, unfortunately from Facebook. I can't believe she's gone. I can't imagine the Andersons without her. I can't imagine Bryan without her. Just.. I dunno.

Leslie said that Alicia's boyfriend and his mom both died, so I guess maybe they were in the truck. Did anyone from the SUV get injured, to your knowledge?

:( Yeah I was glad to have received a call rather than facebook notifications.. I still can't even begin to imagine Bryan without his sister. Or Jessica without hers.

Everyone from the Jeep died, tragically. The SUV passengers were injured but survived.

Thank you, I miss you tons.. I really don't know what to think of this because it hasn't fully set in. Her service is Thursday so I am just preparing for it. <3
