So, for the very first time in my life, I paid for something in blood yesterday. Sort of. The radio station was running a promotion where they would give anyone who showed up at the Monrow Drive Red Cross blood donation center to give blood a pair of tickets to see Little Shop of Horrors (stage show, not movie) at the Fox. So Marie and I trooped

I'd gladly have given my blood to see Little Shop! We were drooling over tickets last week, but I just can't see shelling out a hundred bucks this week when I'm going on vacation next week...

Hooray for giving blood! A pint and a half, eh? Must be some good stuff.

I asked the woman at the donation center how much blood goes into the tubes after they fill the bag, and she said about another half pint. And the show last night was definitely worth the extra half pint! Mmmm, musicals about mass murderers and their large man-eating plants.
