Just got back a little while ago from bicycling on the Silver Comet Trail. It was about 30 miles along a truly gorgeous path with little in the way of hills (despite Classic Bill complaining about the hills on the return leg of the trip). Experimental Phyllo
So, in the spirit of experimentation and using up some stuff in the freezer, I tried my hand at making blueberry turnovers using phyllo dough. I ought to have brushed the dough with melted butter as the package recommendd, but otherwise it was quite tasty and extremely easy. This is something I'll definitely be doing again! -

What's Up With Google?
This morning, when I enter a Google search, every result is flagged with "This site may harm your computer", and Google woon't let me visit it. WTF?! -

Need Firefox Help
I enjoy using Firefox as a web browser, but on my home computer it is displaying most (but not all) text in a handwriting font I have installed. I'd like to see web pages in a readable font without just telling Firefox to ignore the fonts the pages want to use. Help ( Read more... ) -
The Epitome of Laziness?
I got a new Universal Dock for my iPod for Christmas, which includes a remote control. As I sit here at work, I'm using the remote to control the iPod that is sitting less than a foot from my keyboard. Right now the iPod is actually closer to my hand than the remote. And yet, I'm about to do it again to skip a track.
Such is life.
