Clothes/gear help

Okay compatriots, I need some help. I am desperately seeking a shirt to go under my dobok, since the neckline plunges far into boob territory. Currently I wear a white t-shirt, but the sleeves ride up, the sides are too baggy, and it takes some adjusting during class. So I'm looking for a sleeveless, more well-fitted one. All the workout shirts ( Read more... )

See, the UnderArmor ones I just tried one were the totally see-through ones I mentioned. I really liked them otherwise...they had the best fit of any that I tried, and were far cheaper than Nike. But they were literally COMPLETELY see-through...

I'm a huge fan of lululemon...which is a Canadian based company so depending on where you are you may or may not be able to find a store. There are a few around, though, in San Diego and some other larger US cities. Once you know your size they also sell online. It's expensive too, but it lasts forever and is super comfy. If you actually go to a store, the people are super helpful too.

I found that a simple ladies tank top always worked perfectly for me. I believe walmart sells them, although I'm not sure how much, i don't think their over $10. They are quite comfortable. I usually tried to get one long enough that I could tuck into the elastic of the pants so it wouldn't be dislodged easily.

Unfortunately my boob are REALLY big, so those tend to sag down into cleavage-ville.

I have this problem as well.. I did find that the lady's tank tops from old navy ($2 each this last weekend) work great... but I buy a size smaller than normal. it fits more snugly and covers the cleavage up decently.)

then again, I always joke that I'm going to distract my opponents with my boobs before attacking them.

I've used the cotton tank tops work well--and I'm a D. But not all tanks are alike. The gap tanks are sort of meh (a bit low cut); I got one at target that was total crap; but one I got at Walgreen's (of all places) is perfect.

Although after seeing this thread, I may have to go grab an UA tank..

So far the one I like the best has been Jockey's Seemless Racerback Tanks. Mine has a built in bra, so see through is not an issume, they run about 30-35$ I've found that once they are washed they shrink short in the body, so I get a med instead of a small and after a wash or two they fit me juuuuust right.

I've found Jockey's basic knit tank/undershirt to be excellent workout wear; form-fitting but not constrictive, and enough room in the arm-holes for actual arm muscles. They've also started making them extra-long in the body by default, so they stay tucked better. YMMV based on your build, but you can pick up a three-pack for about ten bucks, so they certainly fill the not-expensive requirement!
