I guess the stray's owner was happier to get her back than it seemed. She sent us a very nice thank-you note for taking such good care of her, and a copy of Zen for Cats.

A week or two ago, the sound spontaneously stopped working in Flash player. I'd muted a YouTube video (so I didn't have to listen to the sputters and stops while it buffered), and then I couldn't un-mute it; the audio symbol clung to its little "x" for all it was worth.
