I'm going to purchase my very first lawnmower this week! I am interested in an electric mower but don't know anyone who has used one...any input out there? Are they worth the slightly higher price tag than a gas mower?

My grandma had one of those when I was a kid. It was REALLY easy to run over the #$%*@ cord; I remember my uncle bitching about it quite a bit. I have NO recent experience though with them.

We are planning on doing yardwork this weekend cause the grass is a growing!

Did you say something about Cinco de Mayo and Key lime cheesecake? Just trying to job my memory a bit.

thanks! They have rechargeable cordless ones now, i'm just wondering if they putter out before the work is done.
